University lecturers to report to work

The Federation of University Teachers' Association says that even though their problems have not yet been resolved, they will return to universities from Monday.

Secretary of FUTA Dr. Mahim Mendis revealed this position subsequent to an Executive Committee Meeting today.

This solution that has been presented us does not show how this percentage will be increased. Even
though the authorities have not understood our problems after months of discussions, and after
taking the public into consideration, we have decided to return to work on Monday. Our problems have not been resolved, but we will return to academic activities from Monday.
