Credit card thieves taking a swipe at every opportunity - public warned

Police have advised the public to take steps to protect themselves from credit card thieves who are
operating locally and internationally, when using credit cards for transactions.

Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana says the racket of stealing credit card data and swindling
money has gained momentum.

The Police Media Spokesperson said that a person connected to such a racket was arrested at the airport
